UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center is having a mobile mammography van event for women to access a free mobile-mammogram screening on Saturday, March 25th at 4815 Watt Avenue, North Highlands, CA 95660 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Register today by calling Bao Her at (916) 734-5371. Walk-ins are not accepted.
The following is a message directly from UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center:
“We understand the struggles for women in Sacramento to obtain their mammogram and by having this mobile mammovan event we’re hopeful it’ll meet the needs of our community members.
- Women without insurance coverage are highly encouraged to participate, as we’ll be enrolling them into Every Women Counts (EWC) on the day of, to cover their mammogram screening (they won’t need to provide any supporting documents for this).
- For women with insurances, their insurance will be billed.
- We’ll also be providing a $10 gas card to women whom complete the screening, as well as a goodie bag of swag items.”
