Mayday! Mayday! Don’t Delay!

Join the Capitol Coalition, California Community Living Network, and more for a rally on Tuesday, May 21 at 10:00 am to STOP the DELAY in rate increases that is currently in statute to occur on July 1. In January, Governor Gavin Newsom proposed budget rate increases be delayed one year. We must come together to rally against the delay to continue to support the staff and direct support professionals who are fundamental to the service delivery system for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Can’t join the rally? Have your voice heard! Please complete this letter to ask the Governor and Legislative Leadership not to delay the rate increases for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  All letters submitted by the due date will be printed and delivered to legislative offices during the May Day Rally on Tuesday, May 21st.  Anyone can submit a letter– people with disabilities, direct support professionals, Service Coordinators, family members, service providers–anyone who is affected by this rate delay!
