Sankofa
A Network to Increase Advocacy and Decrease Disparities for Black Children
Sankofa was
founded in 2015 in order to meet the unique needs of parents of
Black children with autism and
other developmental disabilities. In collaboration with UC Davis
Mind Institute, Sankofa is hosting once a month virtual meetings
for parents, caregivers, and providers of Black disabled
children. The mission is to provide culturally sensitive
information and provide a safe space for families and
providers.
All meetings help on Wednesday once a month from 6:00pm-8:00pm:
