Vaccine Mandate for all IHSS, Regional Center Employees, and Vendors

The California Public Health Officer, Tomás J. Aragón, has mandated vaccinations for all IHSS, regional center employees, and service providers for regional centers by November 30, 2021. The order is effective immediately, and individuals required in this mandate must be in full compliance:

• received second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine by November 30, 2021, or
• received one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine by November 30, 2021.

The Department of Developmental Services issued a directive to summarize the vaccination mandate.
