Upcoming Winter Storm

Post

With Winter Storms expected this week into the weekend and early next week, here are some available resources that are county specific provided by LISTOS California. In addition, high winds can lead to downed power lines, power outages, downed trees, fires, etc. If you are confronted with downed power lines, ALWAYS assume the downed lines are active and energized. To report downed power lines, call 9-1-1 or the area utility company.

PG&E discusses safety tips on what to do when presented with a downed power line, along with a link to community resource centers in the event there is a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) or an extended power outage.
