Request Letters for Vaccine Prioritization for People with Disabilities by County
Alta California Regional Center is requesting by letter to each of our 10 counties’ Public Heath Officer vaccine prioritization for people with disabilities. Individuals with developmental disabilities experience health inequities and are at greater risk for poorer outcomes from COVID-19. By definition, they are considered hi-risk. We have observed a heightened risk of death for our client population as well.
