Post

USC University for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles received a 2020/21 DDS Service Access and Equity grant to identify barriers to participation in Self-Determination in communities of Color.

They conducted focus groups in the African American/Black, Latino and Chinese Communities. They would like to share what they learned with you at a virtual community symposium. Please join them for an exploration of barriers and recommendations to address these challenges. Hope to see you there!

Please note, Spanish and ASL interpretation will be available at the symposium. Amharic, Cantonese and Mandarin interpretation will be available upon request (with 5 days notice).
