The 2017 Budget Trailer Bill, Assembly Bill 107, amended WIC Section 4418.25 and added WIC Section 4679, authorizing the Department of Developmental Services – when it determines that sufficient funding has been appropriated and reserved for a fiscal year for purposes of the Community Placement Plan (CPP)  – to allocate the remaining CPP funds to regional centers for purposes of community resource development to address services and supports needs of consumers living in the community.

The Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP), which is submitted by the regional center to request these funds, must be accompanied by assessments of community capacity and needs for all crisis services.

ACRC is seeking input on priorities for resource development from stakeholders representing the diversity of the regional center’s catchment area, including, but not limited to individuals, family members, providers and advocates.  Please click on the link on this page to complete the survey.  This survey will remain active until Friday, August 3, 2018.  Questions related to the Community Resource Development Plan can be directed to John Decker at jdecker@altaregional.org.

In fiscal year 19/20 ACRC has awarded McCormick Baron and Salazar and the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency $1.5 million in CRDP funds toward the construction of Marisol Village located in Sacramento, California. The builders will set aside 15 units to be utilized by ACRC clients. Questions related to this development can be directed to Director of Community Services John Decker at jdecker@altaregional.org.
