The city of Sacramento gathered together on Sunday, September 29th  to participate in the Autism Speaks Walk at Raley Field. Hundreds of people walked to raise awareness and funds for research and services for those in the autism community. The Sacramento walk was just one of many separate walks the organization hosts.

It was a joyous gathering of thousands of folks who support people affected by autism. – Phil, Executive Director

Alta California Regional Center had a strong presence at over 70 participants - making us one of the largest teams at the Autism Speaks Walk! The ACRC team proudly exceeded our fundraising goal, raising over $3,000 to help those impacted by this growing epidemic. It was our first year of participating as an organization for the walk and we bested our expectations!

I was so proud to walk with my co-workers, their loved ones and the community and I am proud to work alongside this amazing group of individuals every day! – Mary

The pride ACRC employees showed in participating in the walk and exceeding their fund raising goals was evident by the smiles they wore throughout the walk and in their passion for helping the community. Family and friends of ACRC banded together in unity to take a stand in support of the Autism Spectrum Disorder community. ACRC truly showed its care and compassion through the community engagement and immense participation of our employees!
