Northern California Transition to Adulthood Symposium
The Northern California Transition to Adulthood Symposium is an opportunity for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), their families, and community members to gain valuable insights, resources and information. The event is held on March 21 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
With a focus on supporting young adults with ID/DD navigate the challenges of transitioning to adulthood, this symposium will feature a range of speakers, workshops, and vendors who will share best and promising practices, program services, resources, and information.
Learn about supports that build skills and offer opportunties in independent living, self advocacy, competative integrated emplyment, and educational options among many other topics. Engage in meaningful discussions, network with community members and service providers, and leave inspired and equipped with the tools needed to thrive in adulthood.
