Yolo County Issues Local Emergency Proclamation Due to Exceptional Rainfall and Wind Conditions

Yolo County has issued a local emergency proclamation on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, due to the exceptional rainfall and wind conditions throughout Yolo County. Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, declared a State of Emergency on January 4, 2023, which includes Yolo County. The issuance of a local emergency proclamation will allow Yolo County to set rules, regulations, and other mandates as deemed necessary to assist during this emergency to protect the safety of persons and property within Yolo County.
