Yinneboma is a multifaceted creative
person with a passion for his community. Since the age of four
years old, Yinneboma has displayed his creative abilities through
acting and animation. He is a passionate person who advocates for
inclusion in all aspects of life.
In January 2024, Yinneboma founded New Wave Drama Company. It is an organization that gives people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in acting and theater. Every Tuesday and Thursday, New Wave hosts a drama class from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm and all are invited to participate. New Wave has provided more opportunities to act, and Yinneboma would like to further his career through directing and producing.
Animation is a big part of Yinneboma’s life, and he recently built a green screen room with the assistance of his caregiver. His dedication to his craft is evident as he has finished writing the first season of a show that follows the life of a band as they perform and tour for intergalactic audiences. Yinneboma has left no detail spared, and he has already finished the recording of the voice actors. Now, he is focused on animating the first two episodes.
As a Self-Determination Program (SDP) participant, Yinneboma is thankful for SDP. With a year of SDP experience gained, Yinneboma loves how much of his life he gets to determine and control. It has really opened the doors for programs and services. In January 2025, Yinneboma began a Korean martial arts training called Kuk Sool Won. From his training, Yinneboma was recently awarded his yellow belt, which is one level up from the introductory white belt. It has given him strength and he enjoys how he can control his body through movement.
Yinneboma is unapologetically himself in all ways. He never shies away from a new hobby or interest and he is fascinated by life and feels fueled by his desire to grow more. He hopes to inspire people to never give up on the things that excite them and to find the community that they love. For Yinneboma, all are welcome to be a part of his community, and he actively works to improve it through his dedication to the arts and giving people with disabilities an opportunity to participate.
