The Northern California Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other  Related Disabilities (LEND) program at the UC Davis MIND Institute is currently accepting applications for the 2022-2023 year! UC Davis encourages graduate level students, postgraduate professionals, family members of an individual with disability, and/or self-advocates/advocates to apply.

The purpose of the LEND training program is to provide interdisciplinary and leadership training to clinicians, families, self-advocates, and community leaders involved with developmental disabilities. LEND provides trainees with multiple learning experiences, including weekly seminars, empirically supported clinical care, and leadership within communities to adopt evidence-based practices for improving services. Training those from underrepresented groups, including non-professional family members and persons with disabilities, is a high priority. Long-term (500+ hours per year, financial stipend included) and Medium-term (40+ hours per year) trainee positions are available. Applications are due March 31, 2022. The LEND program will begin September 2022 and continue through May 2023 for the next cohort of trainees.
