Learning Objectives:
  • Identify at least one research-based strategy to promote inclusion at every life stage for children, youth and adults with intellectual and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
  • Describe the positive outcomes of inclusion for children, youth and adults with intellectual and other neurodevelopmental developmental disabilities.
  • Describe the importance of inclusion by connecting it to the case examples and lived experience presented by the panelists.
  • Identify at least 3 community/online resources available to support inclusion in areas such as education, medical treatment, and employment.
