StationMD

ACRC would like to announce our vendorization of StationMD. StationMD provides 24/7 telehealth urgent medical care for eligible Regional Center clients. The service offers immediate access to physicians trained in caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to address urgent, non-emergency medical needs, reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, and support continuity of care.

• Medical evaluation and treatment for urgent, non-emergency conditions.
• Prescriptions when clinically appropriate.
• Determination of whether in-person care is necessary.
• Direct communication with:
  • Emergency departments
  • Urgent care centers
  • Primary care providers, when referral is indicated.
• Warm handoffs to emergency departments when hospital transfer is required.
• Ability for caregivers or support staff to participate in telehealth visits as appropriate.
