Nicole

Nicole has worked at On My Own Independent Living Services since July 2020 as an ILS Skills Trainer. She has a natural way of connecting with clients and meeting them where they’re at. She adapts to each person’s needs and creates an environment that really helps them grow and become more independent. On top of providing great direct support, she’s a strong advocate and works with Service Coordinators and families to ensure clients are supported. She also encourages them to speak up for themselves and make informed choices. Nicole is also a great problem solver and excels at finding resources or adjusting plans to fit a client’s situation. She always thinks of creative ways to help them succeed.

Nicole brings a balance of professionalism and warmth that clients respond to, treats everyone with dignity and respect, and truly lives out On My Own agency values while building strong, trusting relationships. She says her favorite part of her job is being able to listen to people and understand their needs, providing them with reassurance.
