New Legislation for Proposed Funding Increase – Action Required

Legislation is proposed to be introduced today, Thursday September 10th, that will provide a significant funding increase to the regional center system. It is expected that the Legislature will move forward on SBX2-14 (Hernandez),  As it is anticipated that this will be the last day of the session it will be important that this legislation receives the necessary two-thirds majority vote in both the Assembly and Senate.  This means that this bill will need 27 Senators and 54 Assembly members to support it.  Please review the link below to review ARCA’s action alert.
