David

At 23 years old, David is on the cusp of determining what career goals he would like to achieve. He is actively looking for employment and has prior retail work experience. David enjoys the hands-on work required to stock and supply stores.

Although he is somewhat shy, David is fond of animals and easily expresses his love and compassion with his two dogs. Chiki and Princess have been with David since he was a teenager. All the love and experience gained by taking care of his pets makes David feel that volunteering at an animal shelter would be another goal.

Additionally, David is a creative person and likes to draw and paint, especially recreating anime characters he sees from shows.

As David continues to understand his goals and interests better, he feels grateful for the services that Alta California Regional Center has provided him with. David has grown as a person and has transitioned from being very shy and uncertain to a more open and creative person. His Service Coordinator has assisted him with transportation services, interview skills, and job applications.
