36th Anniversary Celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act

To celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), join the Department of Rehabilitation, Disability Rights California, the Department of Developmental Services, and the California Department of Social Services for a Walk and Roll event and Resource Fair on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 9:15 am – 11:30 am.

This in person event will include:

  • Walk and Roll: 9:15 am – 9:45 am
    Starting from the Tower Bridge to the Capitol west steps
  • ADA Anniversary Celebration: 10:00 am – 10:30 am
    Gather at the Capitol west steps for a short program that recognizes statewide ADA champions
  • Resource Fair: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
    Featuring various state departments and community organizations
