Self-Determination Program (SDP) Walkthrough

Dear Self-Determination Program Community,

You are invited to join a one hour webinar on Friday December 12, 2025. This webinar will provide an overview of the most recent SDP directive “D-2025-Self-Determination Program-003: Initial Individual Budgets and Spending Plans.“

D-2025-Self-Determination Program-003 provides regional centers direction on implementing changes to the SDP that are required by Assembly Bill (AB)143. These changes include:

How the initial individual budget is calculated
Certification of spending plans
Transfer of spending plan funds

Meeting materials will be shared a few days before the presentation, by email and on the Department’s Events page.
