Art on the Spectrum
Children on the autism spectrum or
with other developmental differences are invited to a special
  morning at the
Crocker Art Museum with their siblings, families, and
caregivers. Starting before public hours at 9:00 am on Saturday,
April 20, drop in to enjoy a variety of art explorations
including mindful art activities, tactile artmaking, music, and
gallery walks. Art on the Spectrum is designed to offer families an
opportunity to relax and connect through art while building a
sense of community for all those affected by autism spectrum
disorders. Social narratives, noise-canceling headphones, and a
quiet space ensure the program provides a supportive environment.
