Clinical Resources

The clinical team of Alta California Regional Center has devised this Web page as a service to our community. The goal is to provide medical and general information to those care providers who assist the regional center in the care of individuals with developmental disabilities. Care providers include medical professionals, allied health professionals, educators, family members and direct care providers.

The selected topics include updates, discussions and information specific to developmental disabilities. We welcome you to review and learn from these topics and encourage you to use the information to share with or instruct others.

All information is available to down load for future use. In addition, please feel free to contact the Alta California Regional Center clinical team members with any questions, concerns or practice issues relevant to developmental disabilities or pertaining individual regional center consumers.

Clinical team members are also available to speak to your group regarding topics related to developmental disabilities within our ten county catchment area (Sacramento, Yolo, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba, Placer, Nevada, Sierra, Alpine and El Dorado).

If you are interested in making a referral to the Early Intervention Unit, serving children at risk for developmental disabilities age birth to three years, please contact Early Intervention.   If you are interested in referring an individual greater than 3 years of age for consideration of eligibility, please contact our Intake unit:
