Parent Training Class

The goal of the Parent Training class is to introduce parents and/or caregivers to the basic techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (“ABA”). The training is intended to assist parents and caregivers of consumers with behavioral difficulties, who are eligible for regional center services. This class is designed to teach key steps to develop effective behavior plans; it is not meant as a means for crisis intervention or ongoing behavior intervention services for more severe issues, such as dangerous or life threatening behaviors.
